We're into the last 28 hours of our crowdfunding campaign, and are pleased to say that we have reached our minimum target to get to Myanmar - thank you to everyone who has made a pledge. If you still want to contribute and help us reach our overall target, there is still time! Any last minute donations will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks to everyone who bought a cake yesterday - we managed to raise another £110. That means we need just £657 more, but with just 8 days to go the presssure is on! Please remember to share the page on Fb and tell all your friends about it to help us make up those last few hundreds!

We have been award £585 from the university’s travel funds. Today we will be doing a cake sale at the Stopford building foyer. So if you are around on campus and just want to take a break from your exam revision come to our stand to recharge your sugar level!

Another busy day for Team Myanmar - we managed to raise £105 today with a stall at Manchester University Ballroom and Latin Society's biannual competition. We saw some great dancing! Thanks go to the society for inviting us to have a stall there.
Thanks to everyone who bought cakes at yesterday's sale - we made £131. Don't worry if you missed us - we'll be back next week with more delicious homemade bakes! More details to xome
We had a great time at the Myanmar New Year Thingyan event in Manchester today. Joe and Katie enjoyed trying some of the Burmese food and joining in with the traditional Kayin dancing. In the process we managed to raise £324. A big thank you to everybody who donated and supported us.
Thank you so much to everyone who has pledged support so far – we’re almost at 25% of our target! We’ve all met up this week and decided we need a bit more time to make sure we raise the money for the project. If we’re successful, your donation will now go out on 14 May, but we’ll keep you up to date.

hi everyone, we are getting there slowly but surely! We just wanted to say a massive thank you for supporting us!
In the next couple of weeks we have a bake sale, two conferences and a dance show we are attending (but not dancing in) to help raise awareness and funds!
